The kindergarteners in Ms. Andrea Winget's class at South Elementary School were excited when their third grade buddies showed up to their classroom to surprise them!

The kindergarteners sat with their buddies as they eagerly awaited instructions from Ms. Winget on what activity they were going to do together.

The buddy activity was to create a snowflake using a white piece of paper.

They first watched a video showing how to make the snowflake.

The students had to fold their paper a specific way and then make different designs by cutting off the remaining parts of the paper.

Some of the buddies helped their kindergarten partners with the cutting of the snowflake.

When they were done with their snowflakes, the kindergarteners were excited to show them off to their buddies and their classmates.

They could choose to take their snowflake home or hang it up in their classroom window for all to see.
