Kindergarten students in Mr. Lynch's science class learned about snails, gophers, and praying mantises.

Mr. Lynch started the lesson with a video about going on a walk in a forest. As they walked through the forest, they stopped, lifted a log, and found snails underneath it.

A young boy in a grey t-shirt smiles with his arms outstretched in the foreground, while a woman and another child stand in the blurred background of a classroom.

They then continued watching the video, and the last animal they saw was a gopher. The video showed how gophers dive back into their holes if they see a predator and need to protect themselves.
