Students in Mr. Michael O'Donnell's physical education class at South Elementary School enjoyed enhancing their hockey and hula hoop skills this week.

Mr. O'Donnell started the class by going through various stretches with the students to get them ready for the activities.

After stretching, the students walked, jogged and ran while listening to music.

Then it was time for the floor hockey gear to come out, with goals set up in the corners of the gym.

Each of the students had their own hockey stick and ball and they practiced moving the ball around the gym floor and then shooting it into the goal.

After having fun working on their floor hockey skills, it was time to hula hoop!

The students practiced their balancing skills as they tried to spin the hula hoop around themselves.

The students had a blast and are looking forward to their next class with Mr. O'Donnell.
