First grade students in Ms. Naomi Atkinson's class at South Elementary School had a blast celebrating their 100th day of school!

Several of the students even got into character and dressed up as though they were 100 years old!

The class started their celebration by reading a short story together about what they did during their first 100 days of class.

They then had fun coloring the illustrations in using markers and colored pencils.

The students then gathered in a circle on the carpet and it was time for show and tell.

Each student brought something in that represented the number 100.

One student placed 100 cat stickers all over her bathrobe!

Another student brought in a necklace that she had made with 100 beads.

Other items students brought in included a container of 100 Cheerios, 100 Pokemon cards, 100 pennies and even a poster board filled with 100 dinosaur stickers!

All of the students had fun celebrating this huge milestone!
